Being liberated from your own mind

I have been studying astrology for many years. I find the movements of the planets fascinating. The mythology and archetypal energies associated with each planet and asteroid and their expression in our own individual charts. I offer unique natal charts that incorporate the Sabian Symbols, my own intuited info and explanations of the houses, planets, placements and various aspects. I believe in astrology and more specifically one's own natal chart gives you a more complete picture of yourself. A "whole" picture versus just the basic info you get from a sun sign horoscope.

So last night my dreams repeated around the theme of my own T-Square (I do have more than one but for interest in keeping this brief I will just discuss one). T-squares are when 3 planets form a triangle in your chart. 2 of the planets are opposing each other (180 degrees apart) and these 2 planets are at a 90 degree square from the 3rd planet (the apex). This generally means more tension or friction and creates a dilemma. It is thought to create challenges but ultimately bring great rewards when you learn how to work with all the energies together as a "whole".

For the sake of this article I am generalizing a bit. I have Saturn (limits, restrictions, mastery) at my apex. Jupiter (faith, optimism, expansion) is conjunct Chiron (wounding/healing and teaching) both are squaring Saturn. Uranus (higher learning, freedom, unexpected, shock) is opposing Jupiter/Chiron and square Saturn. I used to feel that all of my alternative learning and interests (Uranus), my goals and faith (Jupiter) were limited (Saturn). I continued to have this dream where instead of feeling limited, I had been given focus (Saturn). The discernment to know where to focus. I am expanding (Jupiter) my audience...I am writing this blog after all. I used to wonder "would anyone care to read what I have to say?" (Chiron). Now I say it because I am guided to share my thoughts.

Now the gift of Saturn is one of focus and quality instead of being limiting. It is now freeing to feel this, to not be limited by an old belief and I am rather enjoying this freedom.

And if anyone has a Jupiter-Saturn (Sagittarius-Capricorn) signature in your chart you will do well to recognize that you are both student and teacher, moving between the two. Simply because you are an authority in one area does not mean you have to be an authority in all others or that something is wrong when you enter the room as a student. It means you listen to the energy. You may also then go on to master that subject. It is a lifelong lesson in discipline, mastery, limits, adventure and learning (not necessarily in that order!)
