That saying dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like you've never been hurt. Children often live out their experiences in this manner until society teaches them that to do so will bring about ridicule or the feeling that someone is watching, listening and hurting.
We start out our lives with brand new experiences with limitless opportunities to learn and evolve. We sometimes choose difficult roads to travel that force us to look within for inner strength and perseverance. Or we may choose affluent or “easy” roads that provide everything material and lack real meaning or spiritual potential. Forced then to also look within and seek out the connection that we all have. We may feel we are separate from or lack but deep within our subconscious know that we are divine beings of light that radiate our own unique vibrations, traveling the roads many times until we achieve an inner knowing.
As I think back on my own childhood, I wonder how much I created by my own thoughts. Did I choose my family and environment to learn essential lessons to move up the ever eternal spiral towards oneness? How much of my memories are actual memories? Distorted Perceptions? True hurts? How does one learn to live within societal norms but dance like no one is watching? Do we ever get back to that freedom as an adult? Especially when we know someone is watching?
